Pine & Oak Laser Creations – Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply to purchases from Pine & Oak Laser Creations. By placing an order, you agree to these terms together with our Returns and Refunds Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.
Products and personalisation
Our products are handmade, personalised or made to order unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for checking all names, spelling, dates, colours, sizes, wording and other information submitted with your order. We create products using the details you provide.
Product images are examples. Timber grain, engraving tone, handmade finishes and acrylic colours may vary slightly. Colours can also appear different between screens and physical materials.
Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We may contact you if information is missing, unclear or unsuitable for production. We may refuse or cancel an order and issue a refund where we cannot safely, legally or reasonably complete it.
Design proofs and approvals
Where a proof is provided, production will begin only after approval. You are responsible for checking the proof carefully. Changes requested after approval may incur an additional charge and may delay completion.
Customer-supplied content
You confirm that you have permission to use any names, photographs, logos, artwork, trademarks or other material supplied with your order. We may decline content that is unlawful, offensive, unsafe or may infringe another person's rights.
Product photography and social media
Unless you tell us otherwise before your order is completed, you give Pine & Oak Laser Creations permission to photograph the finished product and use those photographs in our portfolio, website, advertising and social media. You can opt out at any time before publication by adding a note to your order or contacting us. We will take reasonable steps not to display private contact details, addresses or customer-supplied personal photographs without separate permission.
Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise. Payment must be successfully processed before production begins, unless a separate written arrangement has been made for a custom business order. Any quotation is valid only for the period stated in the quotation.
Production and delivery
Production times are estimates and can vary due to order volume, design approval, material availability and the nature of handmade work. Shipping time is additional to production time. Please contact us before ordering if you require an item by a particular date; we cannot guarantee deadlines unless agreed in writing.
Local pickup
Local pickup is free and by confirmed appointment only. Customers must wait until the order is marked ready and arrange a pickup day and time before attending the pickup address.
Cancellations, returns and faults
Personalised and custom-made orders generally cannot be cancelled or returned for change of mind after production has begun. Faulty, damaged or incorrect products are handled in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy and Australian Consumer Law.
Intellectual property
All original product designs, photographs, text, branding and website content created by Pine & Oak Laser Creations remain our intellectual property and may not be copied, reproduced or commercially used without written permission. Rights in customer-supplied logos and artwork remain with their respective owners.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be handled subject to applicable Australian law.
